| 4-H So much more than Farming!
Citizenship, Leadership, Life Skills Did you know the 4-H teaches Decision Making*~*Teamwork Goal Setting*~*Self motivation Personal Responsibility Critical Thinking Social Skills*~*Community Service Responsible Citizenship In 4-H, kids can develop these skills while learning about things that interest them personally. 4-H projects encompass more than animals and agriculture, they also include Leather Craft, Creative Arts, Food & Nutrition, Photography, Outdoor Adventure, and so much more! BELONGING: The youth become members or participants of a recognized group in the community. MASTERY: The projects and activities help mentor skills to make positive career and life choices. INDEPENDENCE: Leadership development opportunities help youth mature, develop self-discipline, responsibility and become independent thinkers. GENEROSITY: 4-H community service projects and citizenship activities allow 4-H members to see that their effort to help others is important and valuable. |
